About the role#
As an intern in the Fund Data Reporting and Analytics team, you will support GCM Grosvenor’s business development and marketing initiatives. You will focus on preparing portfolio performance reports and analyses across private equity, infrastructure, and real estate investment verticals. This role involves working closely with client services, marketing, and investment teams to provide benchmarking reports and portfolio metrics.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data related to fund and co-investments.
- Prepare and report performance information for business development, marketing, and senior management.
- Create historical and forward-looking analysis for management fees, carried interest, and expenses.
- Assist in managing Master Entity Data.
- Perform ad-hoc and medium-term projects as assigned.
- Manage multiple requests simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Interact with various departments to gather information for reports.
- Use data visualization tools and applications to manage analyses.
- Gain experience querying transactional and reference data from enterprise systems.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain complex thoughts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- High attention to detail and commitment to work quality.
- Integrity and the ability to maintain confidential information.
- Strong work ethic and a self-motivated approach.
- Collaborative nature and the ability to work well with others.
