About the role#
The Insolvency & Fiduciary Services (IFS) co-op program offers students hands-on experience in navigating distress situations. You will support clients as they work to preserve value, maximize economic recovery, and reduce risk. This role provides direct exposure to deal work, training, and collaboration with our leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Support operational, accounting, and strategic tasks while managing deadlines.
- Conduct market research to support client engagements.
- Assist in creating marketing collateral for distressed sale processes.
- Solve problems in complex, time-sensitive situations.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Balance competing priorities while working toward shared team goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4 or 5-year degree program with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Majors in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong grasp of the three financial statements, financial analysis, and modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep team members updated on progress.
- Strong business writing skills and a proactive, self-starter mindset.
Location & details#
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027 (starting January 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid, with 4 days per week in the office.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, between 9:00am and 5:00pm EST.
- Compensation: $23 per hour.
