About the role#
Freese and Nichols is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 program within our Water and Transportation practice areas. This is a full-time, paid internship designed to provide hands-on experience in civil engineering. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support infrastructure and community development.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with calculations, analysis, and design.
- Prepare plans, reports, and other project deliverables.
- Collect and analyze project or field data.
- Work with experienced engineers to review your work and build technical skills.
- Use software and tools to help solve real project problems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS degree program for Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- An expected graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Student organizational involvement is preferred.

- Locations: Rogers, AR; Oklahoma City, OK; and Tulsa, OK.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid and on-site work.
- Note: Relocation and housing stipends are not provided for these positions.
