About the role#
Freese and Nichols is hiring for the Summer 2027 Internship Program. This is a paid, full-time opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in civil, environmental, and mechanical engineering, as well as urban planning. Interns work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support infrastructure and community development. You will participate in professional development and networking events throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with calculations, analysis, and design tasks.
- Prepare technical plans, reports, and other project deliverables.
- Collect and analyze field or project data.
- Review technical work with experienced engineers to build your skills.
- Use software and tools to solve project problems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS degree program in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or Urban Planning.
- An expected graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Pursuit of a degree related to water, transportation, or urban planning.
