About the role#
Frazier & Deeter is hiring an Assurance Intern for the Winter 2028 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Atlanta. You will join engagement teams to gain experience in public accounting, working with clients ranging from emerging businesses to large corporations. You will work directly with seniors and managers to learn the practical side of audit and assurance work.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engagement leaders, seniors, and managers on client projects.
- Build skills in planning procedures, balance sheet testing, and income statement testing.
- Assist the team with audit reporting and ad hoc projects.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to track engagement progress.
- Travel to client sites to perform on-site audit work.
- Build professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Participate in firm networking events and culture activities.
- Work with a performance manager to set career goals and receive ongoing coaching.
- Connect with a mentor or buddy for support throughout the internship.
