About the role#
The Front Desk Assistant acts as the primary contact for students, staff, and visitors in the Office of Residence Life and Community Standards. You will handle daily office operations and support the Division of Student Affairs through various administrative projects. This position is open to current undergraduate students at Franklin Pierce University and is a work study role.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors and answer phone calls while responding to general inquiries.
- Schedule meetings with professional staff members.
- Provide information to students regarding housing and community standards processes.
- Maintain public spaces and post flyers to assist with hall management.
- Submit maintenance work orders to address facility concerns.
- Support office management projects and cross-departmental initiatives.

- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at Franklin Pierce University.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
