About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Human Resources Internship at Fox Rothschild. The role is based on-site in Philadelphia and is specifically for students participating in the Drexel University Co-op Program. You will work directly with the Chief Human Resources Officer, HR Director, managers, and the broader HR team.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support including file management, scheduling, and processing check requests.
- Maintain employee records and benefit documentation.
- Facilitate I-9 and E-Verify processes.
- Support new hire onboarding, orientation, and departure processing.
- Respond to employment verification requests and manage the HR and Benefits inbox.
- Assist with 90-day and annual evaluation processes.
- Manage job postings, track active listings, and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate meetings, video conferences, and hospitality requests while preparing meeting materials.
- Assist with benefit and wellness communications and maintain internal HR information systems.
- Support special initiatives such as open enrollment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Human Resources or Business Administration program, with preference for second or final Co-op students.
- Previous experience in human resources or recruitment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage tracking spreadsheets and databases.
- Capability to work effectively in a team environment.
