About the role#
As a Retail Manager at the Airport Student Bookstore, you will lead store operations and drive sales growth. You will foster a culture of mentorship and development while managing financial metrics and store performance. This role involves working closely with a Regional Manager to oversee campus relationships and daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Execute operating plans and daily operations for both traditional and peak rush periods.
- Lead in-store course materials activities in collaboration with course materials leadership.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, faculty, staff, administrators, vendors, and the One Team Center to improve market share.
- Manage full cycle talent management, including recruiting, training, and coaching team members.
- Ensure store security, asset protection, and safety for all associates and customers.
- Facilitate campus events and maintain an engaging, clean, and orderly store environment.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in general computer skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence team performance.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.

- Travel: Minimal, less than 10%.
