About the role#
This Summer Associate position offers an introduction to healthcare leadership. You will perform administrative work to support research and review projects. Your focus will be on hospital policies, procedures, and department operations.
What you'll do#
- Collect and prepare data for departmental use.
- Assist in studies that measure the efficiency and effectiveness of hospital operations and policies.
- Help management implement new programs and procedures.
- Perform other related administrative duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate junior in a bachelor program.
- An expected graduation date in 2028.
- An interest in pursuing a career in healthcare administration.
- Preferred experience includes prior administrative work in a hospital, strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Skills in data entry, presentations, and creative design are also preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Hyde Park, New York.
- The internship runs from May 31, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
- This position is paid.
