About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship based in our Ohio offices. You will work alongside our transportation team to support the design of bridges, roads, and civil infrastructure for DOT and municipal clients.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of roads, bridges, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Create design drawings using AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer.
- Support engineers with technical documentation and calculations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across our office locations.
- Participate in solving engineering challenges and managing project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or OpenRoads Designer.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- An interest in learning and contributing to engineering projects.
- Previous internship or DOT project experience is helpful but not required.

- Positions are available in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton, Ohio.
- This role offers a hybrid work schedule.
