About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Municipal Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Terre Haute, Indiana. You will work on infrastructure projects that directly impact public services.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of water mains, sanitary sewers, and roadways for local municipalities.
- Perform design calculations and develop cost estimates for various projects.
- Draft plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Visit project sites to gather data and observe field conditions.
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines and office locations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is helpful.
