About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Bridge Design Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship. You will work with our Transportation team to assist in the design of roads and other civil projects for the DOT. This position is available in either our Farmington Hills or Grand Rapids offices and offers a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Create design drawings using AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer.
- Support engineers with technical documentation and calculations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across our various offices.
- Participate in solving engineering challenges and managing project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A desire to learn and contribute to project work.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or OpenRoads Designer.
- Previous internship or DOT project experience is helpful but not required.
