About the role#
The Project Engineer Intern/Co-op position is an entry-level opportunity based in College Station, Texas. Working with the travel team, this role provides hands-on exposure to the construction industry and project management processes.
What you'll do#
- Update construction plans using Bluebeam and electronic document management systems.
- Draft and post Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Review, track, and process submittals and shop drawings.
- Document project progress through photography and the writing of executive summaries.
- Coordinate with prospective bidders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist with job close-out procedures, including the execution of punch lists.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Environmental), Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong computer skills and technical proficiency.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Availability: Positions are available for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Winter 2027 terms.
- Compensation: This is a paid position including a monthly housing stipend for relocation assistance.
