About the role#
The Project Engineer Co-op is an entry-level position within the Project Management department. This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, from start to close, through hands-on learning experiences in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Update construction plans using Bluebeam and the electronic document center.
- Post and write Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Document project progress through photos and written executive summaries.
- Communicate with prospective bidders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Review, track, and process submittals and shop drawings.
- Execute punch lists and assist with job close-out procedures.
- Participate in job site visits, mock bid days, and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program for Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Tech-savviness with strong computer skills.
