About the role#
FT Partners is hiring Equity Research Summer Analysts to support our senior research team. You will work directly with Senior Analysts on fundamental analysis, financial modeling, and the creation of research reports and presentations. This role offers exposure to the financial technology sector and the chance to contribute to the research process at a boutique investment bank.
What you'll do#
- Build deep knowledge of the FinTech sector.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support research.
- Perform fundamental analysis on market, economic, and technology trends.
- Write research reports and notes on companies and industry topics.
- Create presentation materials for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate with the internal sales force, clients, and company management teams.
- Contribute to the generation of new investment ideas.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or Master student with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Undergraduate degree with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of accounting, finance, and securities valuation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively across multiple teams.
- Experience integrating AI-powered tools into daily workflows to increase efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
- U.S. work authorization is required. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
- Prior internship experience in equity research, investment banking, or FinTech is preferred.
