About the role#
Finance Factors is hiring an IT Intern to support our internal operations in Honolulu. You will work across IT and Cybersecurity areas to learn how our department functions. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Manage user accounts and configure workstations and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues for hardware, software, and network systems.
- Document support requests and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like backups, system checks, and updates.
- Contribute to IT projects including system upgrades, software deployments, and network improvements.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory management and IT asset tracking.
- Create and update user guides and technical documentation.
- Monitor system performance and report irregularities to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, computer hardware, and software applications.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and internal users.
- Ability to organize tasks, solve problems, and pay attention to detail.
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize work effectively.

- This role is based on-site in Honolulu, Hawaii.
- This is a full-time internship.
