About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Chicago. You will work directly with the Asset Based Lending team to support the origination, underwriting, and portfolio management processes. This role requires you to be on-site.
What you'll do#
- Perform complex analytical support functions to assist the deal team.
- Support day-to-day coverage, origination, and transaction management for clients.
- Prepare pitch materials and market updates for client meetings.
- Develop an understanding of how to pitch, structure, monitor, and execute asset-based lending transactions.
- Assist with underwriting approval and loan closing processes, including system setup and administration.
- Research and assess financial information to support deal team presentations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Political Science, or Communications.
- Your graduation date must be between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A minimum 3.3 GPA is required.
- You have a strong interest in financial analysis, corporate finance, and financial markets.
- You possess a working knowledge of financial modeling and valuation.
- You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is 43,680 to 67,700 USD.
