Software Engineer Internship

About the role#

This is a full-time, 12-month paid internship designed for soon-to-be or recent graduates. You will work across the engineering function to contribute to Clerkie Fiber, our flagship B2B CRM. This role offers the opportunity to build real features and solve complex problems while collaborating closely with our engineering, product, and design teams. For standout interns, our goal is to convert this into a full-time engineering role at the end of the program.

What you'll do#

• Develop and maintain Clerkie Fiber by working across the full tech stack, from frontend interfaces using Next.js and Tailwind CSS to backend services in Node.js, AWS, and MongoDB.
• Build robust and scalable APIs to support our platform’s growing user base.
• Optimize system performance to ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience.
• Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on scalability and security.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and help shape the future of our technology.

What you'll need#

• A soon-to-be or recent graduate (class of 2024 or 2025 preferred) with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React.js, Next.js, or Node.js.
• Comfort working with databases, including SQL or NoSQL technologies like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Ability to manage project priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results independently.
• A collaborative mindset and excitement for working within a small team environment.

• This is a full-time, remote-first role based in the United States.
