About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to explore the intersection of finance and technology. You will gain experience in accounting systems, business intelligence, and automation. You will also learn how the Federal Home Loan Bank system acts as an intermediary between capital markets and its member institutions.
What you'll do#
- Work on business process automation and optimization projects.
- Build financial reports and dashboards using enterprise data.
- Assist with accounting systems administration.
- Focus on bridging the gap between business needs and information technology.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, computer science, or computer engineering.
- Strong SQL and Excel skills.
- Academic or professional experience in data science.
- Ability to work as a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Knowledge of Power Platform is a plus.
- A written faculty reference is appreciated but not required.
