About the role#
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas is seeking a Corporate & Marketing Communications Intern to join our team in Irving, Texas. This is a full-time, paid internship offered on a rolling basis. You will gain professional experience in communications and marketing while learning about the banking and financial industry.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and develop intranet content and edit presentations.
- Support employee engagement, events, and activities through targeted messaging.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create brochures, eblasts, ad copy, and marketing sheets.
- Develop and implement social media content and campaigns while researching trends and reporting on analytics.
- Support product and program launches by creating infographics, banners, and collateral.
- Conduct interviews, write press releases, draft talking points, and build media kits.
- Contribute to internal and external publications, including magazines, newsletters, and reports.
- Assist in planning and executing media and member events.
- Develop scripts and storyboards for corporate videos, photograph internal events, and expand your video editing and shooting skills.
- Participate in strategic planning meetings, conference calls, and webinars.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for communications, marketing, visual communications, public relations, advertising, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Experience with or a willingness to use AI platforms.
- A clear interest in pursuing a career in communications or public relations.
- You must submit academic or professional work samples. A portfolio is required for consideration.
