About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work with the Wealth Management team at Farm Bureau Financial Services to support clients and advisors. The program follows an 80/10/10 structure, where most of your time is spent on project-based assignments, while the remainder is dedicated to networking and learning about the company culture.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Wealth Management team with client support and advisor tasks.
- Review client portfolios.
- Open and maintain client accounts.
- Learn about investment and annuity products.
- Participate in financial planning activities.
- Join corporate activities to gain insight into the organization and the financial services industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A desire to learn and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
- Ability to work on-site in West Des Moines, Iowa.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
