About the role#
As a Legal Intern at F.N.B. Corporation, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the Legal Department. You will observe how the department manages general branch inquiries, human resources issues, litigation, and regulatory matters. You will work alongside internal teams and outside counsel to address the needs of the bank, its businesses, consumers, and executive management.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research on various issues and assist counsel with the review and revision of legal documents such as employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and pleadings.
- Perform thorough analysis to improve decision making, including issue spotting and critical thinking on legal projects.
- Deliver information clearly in writing and orally, adapting your communication style for meetings, training sessions, and conference calls.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve group goals, leverage shared experiences, and contribute to project outcomes.
- Understand and follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while completing assigned trainings.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate bachelor's degree.
- Current enrollment in law school or a strong commitment to pursuing a legal career.
- Ability to perform general legal research.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on achieving team objectives.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Political Science, or Economics are relevant to this role.

- This position is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- This is an on-site role that requires in-office presence.
- The internship is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
- Candidates must be based in the Pittsburgh area as the role continues during the school term.
