About the role#
As a Legal Intern at F.N.B. Corporation, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the Legal Department with daily operations. You will observe how the department manages general branch inquiries, human resources issues, litigation, and regulatory matters. You will work alongside corporate counsel to assist with the needs of businesses, consumers, and executive management.
What you'll do#
- Perform legal research on complex or uncommon issues.
- Assist corporate counsel with the review and revision of legal documents, including employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and pleadings.
- Analyze information to support high-quality decision making and project outcomes.
- Communicate findings and project updates clearly in writing and through oral presentations in various settings.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve group goals and leverage collective experience for improved results.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining integrity in all tasks.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate bachelor's degree.
- Official enrollment in law school or a strong intent to pursue a legal career.
- Proficiency in performing general legal research.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- This position requires on-site presence at the office.
- Candidates must be based in the Pittsburgh area, as the role continues during the school term.
