About the role#
As a software intern at EXFO, you will join a multidisciplinary team focused on the development of software related to the control of optical instruments. You will work in an Agile environment alongside experienced engineers, gaining exposure to advanced technology while contributing to internal projects.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the development of internal software, including proofs of concept and demonstrations.
- Develop and maintain software tools for operations, calibration, and product validation.
- Implement validation strategies for developed software solutions.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a degree program for Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or application development.
- Knowledge or experience in electronics and optical instrumentation is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
