About the role#
As a talent acquisition and HR innovation intern, you will contribute to team activities and participate in initiatives with a concrete impact. You will be mentored by experienced professionals, allowing you to develop an understanding of best practices and apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with talent acquisition partners to learn recruitment best practices and strategies.
- Gain exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle, from talent identification to onboarding.
- Explore modern talent research techniques, advanced sourcing, and candidate outreach strategies.
- Investigate how artificial intelligence transforms recruitment, including using AI tools to accelerate research, analyze data, and support decision-making.
- Participate in innovation projects aimed at improving tools, processes, and the candidate experience.
- Contribute to university recruitment and talent attraction initiatives.
- Develop analytical skills by learning how market data and trends influence acquisition strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A strong interest in talent acquisition.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- An interest in artificial intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
- Bilingualism (French and English) and knowledge of LinkedIn or professional social media are considered assets.
- Proficiency in English is required as this role involves frequent communication with partners and colleagues outside of Quebec.
