About the role#
This is a paid internship opportunity for the Fall 2026 term, running from September 14, 2026, through December 10, 2026. Interns will gain insight into the structure and operations of the marketing department while contributing to client projects and agency success. This role is hybrid and requires in-office attendance at the New York office.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm potential marketing ideas for clients.
- Assist with NBA tentpole events, such as the NBA Draft.
- Execute marketing and community relations projects, including charity events, production shoots, and camps.
- Maintain and update client information, including past marketing deals, player interests, social media analytics, and press kits.
- Support the marketing team by researching relevant industry trends and brands.
- Assist agents and marketing managers in gathering materials for recruiting meetings and sales pitches.
- Collaborate with other departments to support marketing endeavors.
- Handle client concierge requests such as travel and housing arrangements.
What you'll need#
- Senior standing in college (having completed junior year), enrollment in graduate school, or possession of a college degree.
- Availability to work 24 to 29.9 hours per week.
- Ability to report to the New York office approximately 3 days per week.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively across departments.
