About the role#
This paid internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Basketball Sales division at Excel Sports Management. Participants will work with the Sales and Partnership team to support athlete endorsements and sponsorship initiatives. This position is a hybrid role, requiring interns to work from the West Hollywood office approximately three days per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Sales and Partnership team in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities.
- Manage and update company databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Identify prospective companies for partnerships with agency talent and provide supporting rationale.
- Develop detailed company briefs for prospective sales calls.
- Stay informed on current sponsorship news and trends across the sports industry.
- Contribute creative marketing ideas to support sales outreach and gain an understanding of the full sales cycle.
- Participate in projects across various agency divisions to broaden industry knowledge.
What you'll need#
- Senior standing in college (completed junior year), enrollment in graduate school, or a completed bachelor's or postgraduate degree.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Availability to work under 30 hours per week (specifically 24 to 29.9 hours).
- Ability to report to the West Hollywood office approximately 3 days per week.

- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $20.25 per hour.
