About the role#
The Technology Internship Program is a 10-week summer opportunity for students to gain experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. You will work on cross-functional projects, collaborate with IT teams, and participate in professional development workshops. This role is designed to help you apply academic foundations to real-world scenarios while building your career in information technology.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with project teams on requirements gathering, solution design, specification creation, and testing.
- Partner with business experts to transform existing processes into automated digital solutions.
- Elicit and document requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Research and analyze data to identify challenges and provide recommendations.
- Enhance dashboard designs to track performance metrics and improve visibility into data leakage.
- Participate in learning activities focused on Agile methodologies, security tools, firewall logs, and security audits.
- Engage in volunteer activities, networking events, and professional development workshops.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with documenting business processes.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs, or community organizations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required. Experience with SQL Server, Excel VBA, R, Python, or Power BI is a plus.
- Understanding of data warehouses, analytics, reporting, and pricing models is a plus.

- Location: Warren, New Jersey.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 31, 2027 - August 6, 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
- Employment: Full-time internship.
