About the role#
Eulerity is hiring a Backend Developer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, hybrid position based in New York. You will work at least 20 hours per week and must be located in the NYC tri-state area. The role involves working with our engineering team to build and maintain backend services using AI agents.
What you'll do#
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services using AI agents.
- Build new features from the initial design phase through to deployment.
- Collaborate with other teams on product releases and feature development.
- Create documentation and provide support for internal systems.
- Use AI tooling to prototype and iterate on product ideas.
What you'll need#
- At least 1 year of experience building backend solutions with Java.
- Hands-on experience working with AI agents like Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.
- Experience with LLMs or AI agent frameworks.
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Residence in the NYC tri-state area.
- Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs.

- Modality: Hybrid with in-office expectations at least once weekly.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Compensation: $17-$19 per hour.
- Majors: Computer Science or Computer Engineering students are encouraged to apply.
