Erie Events is seeking a Trade Show Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This paid, on-site internship provides hands-on experience in vendor sales and event management across our four venues, including the Erie Insurance Arena, Bayfront Convention Center, UPMC Ball Park, and Warner Theatre.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of trade shows and events.
- Support the team with lead generation, outreach, and tracking communications.
- Coordinate logistics for vendor activations.
- Research potential vendors and local businesses for partnership opportunities.
- Assist with event-day operations, including check-in, signage, and customer interaction.
- Maintain contact lists, CRM entries, and sales documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in a university, or a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sport Management, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A strong desire to learn and professional drive.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, as well as effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
