About the role#
This paid internship offers hands-on experience in vendor sales and event management at convention center trade shows for the Fall 2026 term. Interns will work directly with the Trade Show Manager across various venues to support the planning and execution of events.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of trade shows and events.
- Support the team with lead generation, outreach, and tracking communications.
- Coordinate logistics for vendor activations.
- Research potential vendors and local businesses for partnership opportunities.
- Assist with event-day operations, including check-in, signage, and customer interaction.
- Maintain and update contact lists, CRM entries, and sales documents.
- Coordinate sales outreach efforts for upcoming events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in an undergraduate program, or status as a graduate student or recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Business, Sport Management, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong professional drive and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks.
- A flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
