About the role#
Erie Events is seeking a Trade Show Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides hands-on experience in vendor sales and event management across our four downtown venues. You will work directly with the Trade Show Manager to support our operations and outreach efforts.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of trade shows and events.
- Support the team with lead generation, outreach, and tracking communications.
- Coordinate logistics for vendor activations.
- Research potential vendors and local businesses for partnership opportunities.
- Maintain contact lists, CRM entries, and sales documents.
- Assist with event-day operations, including check-in, signage, and customer interaction.
- Help coordinate sales outreach efforts.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior status in a university program, or a recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Business, Sport Management, or a related field.
- Strong professional drive and a desire to learn.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- A flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
