About the role#
This internship provides experience with corporate financial planning and analysis. You will see how data drives business decisions and gain a practical understanding of accounting processes. You will work alongside team members to support financial operations and complete a project to present at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Review spend requests for accurate coding.
- Assist in developing and reporting financial analysis for budgets, actuals, and forecasts.
- Run integrations and perform reconciliations between ERP and financial planning systems.
- Update the financial planning system with guidance from the team.
- Gain exposure to personnel processes like job requisitions.
- Make routine business decisions and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Follow all organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor or post graduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A general understanding of accounting concepts such as general ledger, revenues, expenditures, amortizations, and accruals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- This position is based in Taylor, Texas.
- The role is hybrid, requiring you to be on-site at least 2 days per week.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
