About the role#
This is a full-time internship within the Portfolio Management team for the Summer of 2027. You will work alongside ERCOT employees to support grid operations and project administration. The program runs from early June through the second week of August.
What you'll do#
- Document Power Automate workflows and logs.
- Separate training logs and mark them as low priority.
- Create code enhancements in a test environment.
- Test the deployment of on-prem Microsoft Project Server.
- Reverse-engineer select Power BI reports.
- Load engagements into Microsoft Project Online.
- Assess resource capacity for proposed project starts.
- Use Fluentbooks to back up production projects and restore them to a test environment.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Portfolio Management team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an academic bachelors or post-graduate degree program.
- Completion of your sophomore year.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A preference for candidates pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Taylor, Texas.
- The work modality is hybrid, requiring you to be on-site at least 2 days per week, with additional days as needed by management.
- This is a paid internship.
