About the role#
As a Process Safety Intern, you will work on the development and implementation of the EQT Process Safety Management (PSM) program. You will own a project from start to finish, focusing on reviewing and updating operating procedures to improve consistency and usability. You will also create training materials and assessments to help employees understand these procedures.
What you'll do#
- Review and update PSM Operating Procedures to align with current practices.
- Create training materials and competency assessments for staff.
- Use EQT AI tools to assist with your project work.
- Collaborate with professionals in Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS.
- Gain hands-on experience with OSHA PSM requirements and field operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate Engineering or Engineering Technology program.
- Academic focus in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
Location & details#
- Location: Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with 25% of time in the field and 75% in-office or remote.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
