About the role#
The Commercial Lending Technology team is looking for an intern to join us for the Winter 2027 term. You will support the design, development, and testing of RESTful APIs, ETL integrations, and Power Platform solutions. This role focuses on emerging AI capabilities, including LLM-powered workflows and intelligent agents, to help deliver scalable microservices and automated business processes.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of microservices, LLM integrations, and workflow automations.
- Assist with requirements analysis and contribute to technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile SCRUM activities and support sprint delivery.
- Perform unit testing, QA triage, documentation, code reviews, and incident resolution.
- Work on API and integration modernization initiatives.
- Execute proof-of-concept projects involving LLM-based solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, Business Analysis, and Project Management teams.
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT teams during delivery and production support.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Previous academic, internship, or co-op experience in software development.
- Foundational knowledge of RESTful API development and basic understanding of ETL concepts.
- Basic experience with SQL Server databases.
- Familiarity with JUnit, Git, and collaboration tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective problem-solving abilities.
- A self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn.
- Exposure to AI solutions, J2EE frameworks, or API development is an advantage.
