About the role#
We are looking for a UI Engineering Intern to join our team as we develop seasonal content for our core Battle Royale game modes. You will work with art and design teams to build player-facing features that ship as part of our seasonal cycle. This role focuses on building systems for our player base while gaining experience in the live-service development process.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new and existing in-game UI.
- Manage UI intersections with gameplay features and services.
- Optimize and fix bugs in new and existing systems.
- Write and document maintainable code with extensibility in mind.
- Build relationships with Art, Design, QA, Production, and Gameplay teams.
- Collaborate with peers and support the success of others.
What you'll need#
- Strong C++ programming skills.
- Experience with Unreal Engine, UMG, and MVVM.
- Enthusiasm for games and interactive entertainment.
- Interest in design and implementation principles.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in a remote, cross-disciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering quality work with a solutions-focused approach.
- Willingness to explore and learn unfamiliar systems.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
