About the role#
As a Product Management Intern at Epic Games, you will join the Growth Team to work on Discover Publish Tooling. You will help build tools that allow creators and partners to manage and publish their content. This role offers hands-on experience taking a product idea from the initial problem definition through to final delivery. You will work alongside engineers and product leads to ship real improvements that impact our users.
What you'll do#
- Define scoped product improvements for Discover by writing clear requirements, user flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Take a product improvement from the initial problem definition through build, testing, and delivery.
- Talk to the operators and partners who use our solutions to understand their workflows and identify pain points.
- Use data, including usage metrics, dashboards, and SQL analysis, to size problems and measure the success of shipped features.
- Test features before release, provide feedback to engineers, and coordinate releases with stakeholders.
- Learn and apply team product practices, tools, and processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude, including comfort with data analysis tools like spreadsheets or SQL.
- A working understanding of how web applications, APIs, and databases fit together.
- Curiosity to work with new technical tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured documents.
- Foundational problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Interest in owning problems end to end and building high-quality tools.
- Ability to receive and incorporate feedback while working with guidance from experienced team members.
