About the role#
This internship is part of the EO Ignite Internships program in partnership with the Southern Appalachian Dance Academy. You will work alongside the Artistic Director and Artistic Associate to learn how a small arts business operates. This role offers exposure to arts administration, leadership, and educational strategies for children while providing a view of professional dance rehearsals and classes.
What you'll do#
- Assist in children's dance classes.
- Organize the studio, costumes, and props.
- Distribute marketing materials to local businesses.
- Run errands and perform miscellaneous duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be a high school student.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must have reliable transportation.
