About the role#
This is a 6-month co-op position based in Bloomington, Minnesota, starting in January 2027. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, supporting our Supply Chain Planning organization. This role focuses on operational excellence, process standardization, and continuous improvement. You will work alongside Supply Network Planners and leadership to refine planning workflows, improve reporting, and establish key performance metrics.
What you'll do#
- Partner with planners and leadership to document, review, and improve supply chain planning processes.
- Analyze existing workflows to standardize tasks, increase efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
- Maintain and update planning playbooks, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Develop reporting templates, KPI definitions, and metrics to support decision-making.
- Assess data quality and support initiatives that improve data accuracy and governance.
- Create process maps and knowledge management resources to assist with onboarding.
- Research and recommend automation opportunities to enhance productivity.
- Help build a centralized knowledge repository to improve information accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify gaps and implement process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with your university's requirements for co-op participation.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in supply chain, operations, planning, manufacturing, logistics, or analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience documenting processes, creating standard work, or supporting continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
