About the role#
We are looking for a QA Lab Analyst Co-Op to join our team in Bedford, Massachusetts. This position runs for 6 months, beginning in January 2027 and ending in June 2027. You will work on-site, 40 hours per week, from Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations within the QA lab.
- Act as a primary point of contact for ongoing R&D projects.
- Learn current testing science and the significance of existing methods.
- Perform daily tests and document any technical pain points.
- Research and suggest improvements to current processes.
- Run feasibility studies for new ideas and summarize your findings in reports.
- Assist with ongoing R&D project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, biology, or a related science field.
- Completion of general chemistry and organic chemistry coursework.
- Prior experience working in a chemistry lab.
- A strong interest in learning advanced analytical chemistry tools.
- Solid chemistry knowledge and practical lab skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks on time.
- An analytical, critical, and logical mindset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for 30 minutes for sample preparation and lift 10 pounds of bottles.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for participating in a co-op program.
