About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op for our Chaska, Minnesota site. This is a full-time, 6-month position starting in January 2027 and running through June 2027. You will work on-site Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What you'll do#
- Join daily Tier meetings to track production performance and support operational goals.
- Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and process documentation.
- Analyze current processes to find ways to improve efficiency, cut cycle times, and remove waste.
- Prepare Management of Change (MOC) documentation for process updates.
- Present improvement ideas to cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineers on projects focused on quality, productivity, and best practices.
- Gather and review production data to guide decision-making.
- Work with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to solve manufacturing issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one year of completed coursework.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with your university's requirements for co-op participation.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Previous hands-on technical, manufacturing, or internship experience is preferred.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January to June).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20-$30 per hour, depending on skills.
