    About the role#

    Entegris is seeking an Analytical Scientist Co-Op to join the Metrology team in Billerica, Massachusetts. This role supports the Advanced Purity Solution division by providing measurements for internal research and development. You will work on-site for a 6-month term beginning in January 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop new retention methods to evaluate current and next-generation products.
    • Study nanoparticle-membrane interaction mechanisms using analytical methods.
    • Collect, interpret, and review experimental data with the analytical team.
    • Draw scientific conclusions based on your analysis.
    • Use critical thinking to determine project outlooks.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a sophomore or above in chemistry, material science, or chemical engineering.
    • Basic understanding of the scientific process and data analysis.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data review.
    • A willingness to learn and attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
    • Desired knowledge includes analytical chemistry, nanoparticles, membrane-based separations, polymers, or ICP-MS.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Billerica, Massachusetts.
    • Term: Winter 2027 (January through June).
    • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
    • Compensation: $20-$30 per hour based on skills.
    • Note: This position does not offer immigration sponsorship.
