About the role#
This co-op position is based in Burnet, Texas, for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site for a 6-month duration, supporting the testing and characterization of high-purity materials used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will work alongside experienced scientists and chemists to gain hands-on experience with advanced analytical instrumentation and quality systems.
What you'll do#
- Conduct analytical testing of semiconductor materials.
- Analyze and report laboratory data.
- Support the operation and maintenance of analytical instruments.
- Assist with instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program for Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from January through June.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for participating in a co-op program.
