About the role#
Engineered Floors, LLC is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join the team in Dalton, Georgia. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling start date. You will work alongside marketing and creative professionals to build visual content for both print and digital platforms.
What you'll do#
- Create marketing materials like brochures, flyers, presentations, newsletters, and digital ads.
- Design graphics for social media, email campaigns, and websites.
- Maintain brand consistency by following company design standards.
- Edit and resize images and visual content for different channels.
- Work with the marketing and communications teams on special projects and campaigns.
- Help develop creative concepts and design solutions.
- Join brainstorming sessions to share ideas.
- Prepare files for print and digital distribution.
- Organize and maintain project files and digital assets.
- Refine designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with Canva, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
- Knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Previous experience through internships, freelance work, or academic projects that demonstrate your design skills.
- Familiarity with social media content creation, photography, video editing, or motion graphics.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn.
