About the role#
As a Project Engineering Co-op, you will join our Power & Water Solutions team to work on automation and control technologies for critical infrastructure. You will contribute to projects that support reliable energy generation and clean water systems, helping our customers operate safely and efficiently. This role is designed for students who want to apply their academic knowledge to real engineering challenges while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects supporting energy generation and water infrastructure.
- Collaborate with a global team of engineers and technical professionals.
- Learn and apply automation technologies, engineering processes, and company products.
- Support application design, engineering execution, and project delivery activities.
- Gain exposure to customer sites, field activities, vendor visits, manufacturing processes, and system testing.
- Experience how engineering solutions balance technical requirements, customer needs, and project schedules.
- Partner with senior engineers for mentorship and professional development.
- Collaborate with fellow co-op students on team-based and cross-functional projects.
- Build technical, project, and problem-solving skills.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Enrollment in a formal co-op program with the ability and interest to return for multiple rotations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
