About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in project delivery, portfolio management, and operations administration. You will assist teams with tracking project activity, maintaining portfolio data, and organizing documentation. This role is for a student who is detail-oriented and interested in learning how cross-functional teams manage priorities and support business operations.
What you'll do#
- Support project managers with coordination activities, including organizing documentation, tracking action items, and monitoring due dates.
- Maintain project and portfolio information in company tools to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare meeting agendas, notes, status updates, and presentation materials.
- Participate in project and operational meetings to capture key discussion points.
- Support portfolio administration tasks such as roadmap updates, initiative tracking, and data gathering.
- Assist operations teams with issue tracking, process documentation, and workflow updates.
- Collect, validate, and summarize data for reports and operational updates.
- Use company software and project management systems to maintain organized records.
- Research and summarize information to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation on assigned topics or internship learnings.
- Respond to internal inquiries and collaborate with team members.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow company security policies.
What you'll need#
- Status as a sophomore, junior, or senior as of the end of the spring term, or enrollment in a graduate program.
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
- Ability to work full-time during normal business hours for the summer.
- Availability to begin employment between mid-May and mid-June.
- Active enrollment in any educational degree program.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computers and standard software, with internet research experience preferred.
- Ability to proofread documents for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ability to perform mathematical computations and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
