About the role#
This 12-month internship provides hands-on experience in external and internal communications, project management, and event marketing within the pharmaceutical industry. You will support a broad range of initiatives, including corporate and brand communications, media relations, and employee engagement. This role requires a high degree of agility and the ability to contribute to strategic storytelling across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Draft engaging copy for newsletters and various communications activities.
- Assist in scheduling social media posts, monitoring engagement, and creating visual content.
- Research and maintain media lists and assist in drafting pitches for local or industry-specific outlets.
- Support the team with internal announcements, slide decks, and company-wide updates.
- Coordinate project timelines and deliverables to assist in the planning and execution of communications projects and events.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Must be a student returning to full-time studies in Fall 2027 or required to complete a co-op/internship for program credit.
- Experience with Canva is required.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is considered a high-value qualification.
- Proficiency in CP Style is a major plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: On-site (minimum of 10 days per month in the office).
- Term: 12-month internship, starting September 2026.
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
