About the role#
This 12-month internship offers hands-on experience in corporate, brand, and internal communications. You will support the communications team with a range of initiatives, including media relations, content development, project management, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring consistent, strategic storytelling across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Draft engaging copy for newsletters and other communications.
- Assist in scheduling social media posts, monitoring engagement, and creating visual content.
- Research and maintain media lists and help draft pitches for local outlets.
- Support internal communications, including company-wide updates, announcements, and slide decks.
- Contribute to project management and coordinate various campaigns.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- Must be a student returning to full-time studies in Fall 2027 or required to complete a co-op/internship for your program.
- Strong verbal skills for participating in team brainstorms.
- Proficiency in CP Style is considered a major plus.
- Experience with Canva is required; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a high-value qualification.
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to produce clean, concise copy.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: On-site (minimum of 10 days per month in the Toronto office).
- Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour.
- Status: Full-time, paid 12-month internship.
