About the role#
The Student Experience Coordinator supports student engagement and success at our Vancouver campus. This part-time position focuses on developing and implementing programs that encourage student participation and retention. You will work 15 to 20 hours per week over 4 days, with a 1-year contract term starting September 29, 2026. This role involves rotating weekly responsibility for the campus emergency phone to handle after-hours incidents.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and assist with major on and off-campus events.
- Lead presentations for large groups of students.
- Support programs including New Student Orientation, graduation, and student mentorship.
- Promote student life events using social media, print materials, and other communication channels.
- Advise students and assist with daily inquiries while welcoming them in the mornings.
- Cultivate professional relationships with staff, faculty, and students.
- Provide administrative coverage for campus student services.
- Encourage student organizations and academic programs to align with school goals.
What you'll need#
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills preferred.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in student services or support is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and campuses.
- A flexible, high-energy approach to managing tasks and troubleshooting under pressure.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada for the duration of the role.

- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

- Compensation: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: 15 to 20 hours per week, 4 days per week.
