About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Winter 2027 based in Montréal. You will work directly on construction sites, supporting the implementation of energy efficiency projects. You will learn from experienced engineers and construction managers while contributing to large-scale technical projects.
What you'll do#
- Follow the implementation of energy efficiency measures, such as thermal plant modernization and lighting conversions.
- Perform site surveys and take measurements on various HVAC systems.
- Supervise work performed by contractors and coordinate site access.
- Verify that work complies with project plans, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Assist with the planning and tracking of construction activities.
What you'll need#
- Current studies in Mechanical Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong interest in building mechanics and energy performance.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel daily to different job sites across the island of Montréal.
