    About the role#

    The Logistics Coordinator Co-op supports the global movement of goods to meet manufacturing and project requirements. Reporting to the Supply Chain team, this role involves working with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customs partners to ensure shipments are delivered efficiently and on schedule.

    What you'll do#

    • Support carrier coordination, including shipment routing, quoting, scheduling, and tracking.
    • Create and manage shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and transportation records.
    • Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate the timely clearance and release of shipments.
    • Evaluate and select cost-effective transportation solutions.
    • Monitor shipment status to ensure supply continuity, escalating constraints or delays as needed.
    • Support reverse logistics activities and transportation cost tracking.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a University degree or College diploma program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of shipping documentation, customs processes, international trade, or ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) is considered an asset.

    • Location: Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: Full-time Co-op.
    • Compensation: $22 - $26/hour.
