About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the legal department at East Penn Manufacturing. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real cases and daily legal operations. This role is designed to help you build your skills through practical tasks and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and analysis on cases and legislation.
- Draft legal documents such as memos, contracts, and briefs.
- Attend client meetings to take notes and support discussions.
- Assist the team with case management and document organization.
- Manage administrative duties including file management and scheduling.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate program, preferably with a Pre-Law focus.
- Strong interest in legal processes and issues.
- Excellent research and writing abilities with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for both verbal and written tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
